The food was good. There wasn't anything that really stood out to me, but it was good. The service was very friendly. One shocker was the charge for a side of rice and beans $7.50! Typically that runs about $3.00 It's the cheapest thing they can throw on a plate. That was aggravating. Otherwise, a decent experience. Also, they are posted 30.07... kinda. The sign is hidden down low inside the door, and the lettering might not be legal. Nevertheless, the thought was there.

Have loved going to this place for the last 10 years. It's been around so much longer (having moved a few years back). I love the Chile Relleno and Carne Asada. The fajitas are great as well. Really you can't go wrong for some really good Tex Mex from really good owners.

Tupinamba is our go to for Tex Mex when we are in Dallas. I was pleased to be able to easily figure out a plant-based option this last time as well...tostadas with regrows beans, guacamole, lettuce and tomatoes. Yum! Thanks for the great food Eddie!

The food here is delicious, the restaurant is clean, and the service is superb. Albert always remembers me and my usual order (Pollo Diablo) and I try to come in as much as possible. Can't recommend this place enough!

Food was very authentic and delicious!! I highly recommend Freddie’s nachos, the margaritas and the guiso.

It was kind of expensive but really worth it. The staff was nice, everything was clean, and the food was delicious!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the food at this cafe. I had a late dinner here one evening, and the food was extremely fresh. The rice was to die for. The one complaint I have is that more salsa options, especially for heat lovers, are needed. If you're into quality tex-mex, then Tupinambá Café will not disappoint!

Such a wonderful place! We drive from Canton to here just to eat. Well worth the drive! Best food around.

Fun environment. Comfortable seating. Friendly staff. Limited gluten free menu: enjoyed my tacos and the chips and salsa. Skinny margarita was refreshing and notbtoo sweet.

Food was great and portions were more than ample! Our server Efron was very helpful and helped make recommendations that really enhanced our experience! We will definitely be back!

A comfortable and familiar place. The food is good, if not remarkable. The wait staff is attentive. This is a step or two ahead of basic Tex Mex.

Tupinamba Cafe is 100% Texmex:) The atmosphere is wonderful, walking in the door, I was amazed. It was updated and modern, however not overly done. As stated in the beginning, it's true TexMex. I was a little disappointed, due to the fact the location and decor gave the impression the food would be on the same level. It wasn't:( The food wasn't bad, therefore I gave Tupinamba 3 stars.

mexican food and the atmosphere here is above par. Staff is always timely even when they have a full house. This place has a good feel to it. Makes me feel like I in Nashville again.

Get the Tupi tacos and venture out from there. We ate at this restaurant, many times, 30 years ago and went to eat there again, and it had moved. We were afraid they had closed. Let me tell you, it was a trip down memory lane as the flavors were a blast from the past. Exceptional Tex-Mex restaurant for a local visit.... Tugs at your heart strings from the old school offerings and flavors. Soft cheese tacos.... OLE'!

Tupinamba is one of the Mexican restaurants our family loves and we go there about once a month, they have a great variety of dishes and wonderful service. The atmosphere is clean modern and interesting with art hanging on the walls and clean lines of the furniture and layout. There's a really awesome antique settee as you enter the bar. The staff is always very attentive and friendly.

Excellent Tex-Mex!! Great food! Great service from friendly staff! Food comes out lightning fast, so pace yourself with a cocktail or cold beer and some queso before ordering. We come here a lot but the food always tastes fresh!!

Great place! Food was amazing! Went here right before going to the Dallas Symphony and the service was prompt and efficient! Their grilled chicken with sauteed veggies was delicious, especially if you are trying to be carb friendly. Pair all that with a visit to the symphony it was a great day.

Been jonesin' for Tex- Mex for a while now. Went late in the afternoon so plenty of distance between customers. Waitstaff were all masked and gloved. Service was great.Food was perfect!

We just recently discovered this place and love it. The decor is very clean, sleek and refreshing. A very open atmosphere but not too noisy. What impressed us most, beyond the exceptional food, was their wait staff: curtious and friendly each and everyone. Their commitment to service and level of professionalism will be one of the reasons we will be going back. Keep up the great work! Food is amazing!!

. I rented the party room for a birthday bash. After the original servers brought chips and salsa, only one waiter attended to 20+ people. This guy was amazing! He handled the entire order and got everything right. He was friendly and helpful even when we served cake & ice cream we brought in.One other thing he got was a heck of a tip. A good time was had by all. I shall return.

Excellent family owned spot. Best margaritas. Love being able to choose my top shelf from a list of tequilas. Nice spicy guiso!
